The Gist
NPRR1099 allows ERCOT to move Resource Nodes when Points of Interconnection change or when resources retire. There was initially some pushback due to the concerns that changing resource nodes can greatly impact the value of associated CRRs, but those were assuaged by ERCOT’s 11/24/21 comments (to NPRR1099 and OBDR034) which limited ERCOT’s ability to move a Resource Node only to implement NPRR1016 – New DGR locations-, account for a series compensator, or implement a new station name.
